Phenomenal. I can’t get over how sweet the lady who attended us was. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where i felt as if the food was truly made with love. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and the price was very reasonable. My friend and I ordered the fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi kimbap. The portions were perfect, we finished ALL of it (and licked our fingers clean). Their plates are also so cute if I may add. I will definitely bring all of my friends here when they visit Teaneck.

If you want to enjoy authentic Korean food, this is the spot! Very homey and cozy. Food is outstanding, big portions, good prices. We loved the barley tea as well

Had been eyeing this location and wanted to give it a try. Simple menu, the food were decent portions. The food was really good. Tried their Spicy rice cake with cheese. Too their Beef bulgogi bento box. They served us Barley tea and gave my sis and I complementary miso soup. Can't wait to come back again.

I ordered takeout. This was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service I received. Service staff were super helpful. The place gives you a cozy feeling where you can chill out either on a date or with a group of friends. The care and attention to detail even on the takeout orders is definitely a welcoming experience. I ordered the solo fried chicken (boneless) with the kare sauce and kimchi fried rice. Food was super tasty. Especially the kimchi is a must try. Will be visiting again to explore other menu items

Mama Hen House is highly recommended by one of my customers. This Korean restaurant is top of her mind. I’d been waiting for tasting it for a long time. Finally, my husband & I had a super great dinner at Mama Hen House last week. We ...

The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were great. We really enjoyed the tteokbokki and honey glazed boneless fried chicken, along with the bulgogi bento and ramyun soup. Prices aren’t that cheap but they are definitely reasonable. There was a space heater at our table which was really nice on this rainy night, too.

Omg, I don’t even know where to start. The food is amazing, the food is incredible. The owner is amazing, the owner is incredible. Best Korean fry chicken hands down, I use to love peck peck which I considered great Korean fry chicken but Mama Hen is incredible. The quality of the chicken 12 out of 10, the flavors 12 out of 10 and the love and hospitality 100 out of 10. Oh, I ate there 3 days in a row while visiting from Texas, enjoy.

There is so much care in each items from food, to presentations to dish and utensils. I will recommend this place. They even had whiting sandwiches, which is the owners old restaurant item. The tarter sauce definitely felt home made. They also make there own soy sauce as well. It was amazing throw back food.
